FHE

Each week we get together with friends to do FHE. We switch houses, have dinner and a lesson and go home. It's nice to keep us in the rhythm of doing it and it's nice to visit. Well, yesterday we had a week off, so Kurt and I decided we would take the boys bowling. This is how the night went.

5:00 pm- Meet at the Chiropractor's office for some much needed pain relief (although I was sore all night)

6:00 pm- Go to the bowling alley and realize there are a lot of cars in the parking lot. The wait for an open lane was an hour. Didn't think about league night.

6:10 pm- Trying to decide what to do. Do we wait or just find something else to do, but what? Okay we decide to go over to the dollar store and let the boys pick out whatever they want. Hey, it was a lot cheaper than bowling and they probably had as much fun. Then we would go to Steamers to have dinner and they could get a giant ice cream.

6:30 pm- Go to Dollar Tree, the boys find candy and a Hot Wheels car. "I can handle that, no piece of crap anything"

6:45 pm- Leave the Dollar Store and head over to Steamers.

6:50 pm- Park , get out and walk over to Steamers, which is not there anymore. WOW...Everything is closing. Now what?

7:00pm- Drive around the parking lot trying to decide what to eat. Stop at Boston's. We eat have a brownie with ice cream and go home.

So we had a fun night, but so much for bowling and a special ice cream dessert.
